“Sal and Hassan created a Moroccan trip that was one of the most sensory stimulating holidays of my lifetime. The rest of my family couldn’t travel to Morocco and so I explored it with a bunch of dynamic women, some of whom I knew, all of whom shared a passion for adventure. We explored his remarkable country with a huge degree of confidence and security that Sal and Hassan had invested enormous time and diligent research to guarantee that our journey delivered a deep range of social, geographical, cultural and culinary experiences. It was quite simply remarkable and I reflect often and with huge gratitude to them both, for making that dream such a memorable reality.”

Going to Morocco with Souk & Co was an experience I will never forget and still talk about with family and friends to this day, over 2 years later! I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and Sal and Hassan were the dream team. The itinerary, tours, accommodation, food & transport were absolute perfection and I couldn’t think of a better way to see the incredible country that Morocco is!

Have you ever set down in a new country, and known immediately that you were in for a trip of a lifetime? That was my experience many years ago when I first met Sally and Hassan of Souk & Co., in Casablanca. To say that was a memorable trip would be an understatement!
The Moroccan travel company, Souk & Co. was born several years ago when Sally and Hassan realized that together they could offer a unique experience in his treasured country of Morocco. Since it’s inception, there are now numerous outfits that lead tours to Morocco, but unequivocally, what Souk and Co. offers is one of a kind. They are at the top of their game, offering group tours or custom tailored guided trips to align with your personal interests and needs. Whether it be Hassan, Sally, or their other licensed team members and professional drivers as your guides, there's a confidence and trust knowing that you're in the hands of an organized, dependable travel company which operates to the highest standard.
Sally, a passionate world traveler, after many years has come to call Morocco her second home. She is in her element when surrounded by the soft shades of sand, the dusty pinks, oases of palm trees, the bustling souks and the familiarity of local families. Her enthusiasm and warmth radiates as she generously shares this excitement and fun with her guests. Sally’s background and knowledge of design, pattern and color, leads the way by visually highlighting each experience. It’s this infectious, creative spirit that leaves each guest with the urge to go back.
As a proud Moroccan, Hassan offers an insider's view of his country through his incomparable breadth of knowledge. He is a warm, patient and modest man with a wonderful sense of humor. His understanding of Moroccan culture spans Moroccan history, the people, their cuisine, the architecture in small towns to large cities, the arts and artisans, traditional crafts, agriculture and music to name a few! Hassan and Sally collectively welcome and inspire their guests through countless, serendipitous and educational experiences be it making couscous by hand or harvesting and dining with a family at their rural saffron farm.
Bravo to Souk & Co. for offering "Morocco by Design”, the motto that defines who they are. To travel with Souk & Co. will no doubt leave you a different person with an appetite to return!

Dear Sally and Hassan (and the whole team at Souk & Co)
Where do I begin with probably the best travel experience of my life?
Northern Africa, The Sahara, Morocco… It's evocative and timeless and that is what I wanted to experience for my 40th with my bestie.
Souk & Co delivered a bespoke, immersive experience that will live with me forever. I will never forget the sights, smells, textures, tastes and mostly the hospitality and open arms of the people of Morocco.
There are so many experiences to list - the mint teas, unbelievable food, shopping, shopping and more shopping. The sunsets and endless stars in the Sahara, sitting on a candlelit dune, sifting age-old sands through your fingers whilst chatting to a fellow traveller. Do not feel shy about meeting new people! You’ll be surprised and delighted at the new friends you’ll make.
If you have ever wanted to "dip your toes” in the guided travel experience, do it with Souk & Co. You will not feel more loved and looked after as you explore a new country.
Oh, and a few words of wisdom… drink all the Rosè, smell every rose and buy everything you fall in love with. You will not regret it.
Much Love. Kelly

You will very quickly understand that Sal has a keen eye for detail and an ability to create a truly immersive experience in Morocco. Sal and her team can be relied upon to have an answer for almost everything in this region and if they don’t have the answer, she will find it. Both Sal and Hassan are exceptional subject matter experts and all-round great people to be around. I am delighted to provide a recommendation and as I write this I bring back all of the fantastic memories; camping in the Sahara, camel trecks with Moet, staying in the most amazing accommodation, experiencing the locals. I will always remember “chickenrun” the way I remembered the local word for thank you. So many laughs and such a life changing experience!!

“My Taste of Morocco tour with Souk & Co was simply an unforgettable travel experience. The attention to detail of Sally, Hassan and her extended team on the ground in Morocco combined to create a faultless adventure and our small group of 8 was able to immerse ourselves in the beautiful culture, people, food and stunning scenery without worrying about a thing! From the keepsake travel itinerary arriving before departure - to the perfect timing of the bus arriving to pick us up just as we left the Souks loaded with purchases – the team seriously have every detail covered. Every Riad or restaurant we visited was a feast for the senses – usually hidden behind a nondescript hole in the wall that I am sure I would have missed without the team’s experience and meticulous research . Sally’s evident love of Morocco was reflected in the warm welcome she received wherever we went – and as her travel buddies we were always treated with the same love and kindness. It really is her second home.
Hassan’s willingness to share his knowledge and love of his country really enriched the whole travel experience for me and It has been a joy to re-read my travel diary during this period of no travel from Australia! And yes – you do need the rug and as many ceramics as you can viably fit in your suitcase (or afford to Fedex home!).
I went along on this trip with a friend as I am always up for an adventure - and had no expectations of where I was going or what we were doing – and honestly had one of the best travel experiences of my life. Morocco should be at the top of everyone’s travel list and Souk & Co are THE people to take you there. I guarantee you will leave wanting to return – I can’t wait to take my family back with me next time!”
Shukran!

From the minute I started following Souk and Co on social media, I have become obsessed with magical Morocco and what a fabulous way to see this vast North African country, on a bespoke small group tour with Souk and Co in 2019.
So what makes this small tour company so special ? The people of course!
From the back office girls to a quick coffee catch up with Sally before I had even left Australia!
On the ground in Morocco we had wonderful driver Abdul, who promptly met us at the airport followed by meeting Hassan our incredible local guide and our small group of travellers it was just everything I had dreamed of and more.
Hassan is not only knowledgable with history and architecture stories he shares, both he and Abdul also know the best Nous Nous (coffee) and bathroom stops and were only too happy to detour slightly and show us a few extra unplanned places when I asked about them.
I could just listen to Hassan and his stories all day. A proud countryman sharing his knowledge of Morocco with love and passion. I felt incredibly blessed to have met him, Sally and the Souk and Co team.
Travelling with Souk and Co allowed us to not just embrace the local culture and see the sights, we also went to visit real homes of friends and aquaintances and our accommodation in exquisite small family run Riad’s that were so dreamy you just did not want to leave.
The wow moments were real and constant for the whole trip, from dancing in the moon light in the desert while drinking champagne and making life long friends, to eating BBQ lamb chops and vegetable taggines as a lunchtime treat on our way to the desert to all the different souks and slippers and special trinkets it was so wonderful I re booked immediately.
Thanks to covid my next Morocco trip is currently a dream now for 2022 but honestly if you think you want to see this country, then I can not think of a better little tour company to go with they think of everything!
Sally, Hassan and your teams both in OZ and Morocco - until I am drinking mint tea with you in your beautiful country again,
Shukran

“My friend and I joined a Souk & Co tour through Morocco in September 2018 to celebrate her 40th Birthday. It was a trip of a lifetime for us, much excitement and anticipation and it lived up to every expectation, scheduled and imagined.
The most meticulously organised, thoughtfully scheduled and amazing experiences. As a veteran traveler, there are not enough superlatives to convey how amazing the experience was - the places, the people, the phenomenal and varied countrysides, the incredible food, exclusive cultural exposure…..all out of this world as we know it.
The personal involvement by the local Souk & Co staff, the wonderful drivers and beautiful guide Hassan, made it extra special.
It was a holiday like no other, a true adventure. One I will never forget and touches me still every day with the treasures and special memories I brought home.”

Souk & Co, the ONLY team you need to bring alive the magical Kingdom of Morocco.
I first met Sally and Hassan in 2013 on what was Sally and my first trip to Morocco, her passion for the country and its people was apparent from the start. Hassan was our local tour guide and the most beautiful soul with a deep love, respect and knowledge of his home that he shares so willingly. No question is too small or too silly, he will share a joke, and have deep conversations about history and tradition, equally. It was a no-brainer for me as to who I would travel with when I was planning my return to Morocco in 2019.
Sally and Hassan surround themselves with the best team and ensure the accommodation and venues we visit are local and true to the spirit of Morocco. Yes, you get to see all the places on the tourist map, but you get to see them through the lens of a local and get to see so much more.
Abdulkarim, our driver, was so lovely, always greeted us with a welcoming smile. He was very respectful and when he realised I was a chatterbox, was happy to accommodate me and even managed to get a word in himself every now and again! His coach was spacious, always clean and his driving skilled be it through busy cities, tight streets in country towns or the winding roads of the high Atlas Mountains. He drove us safely no matter the conditions - think roadworks creating unpaved portions of the windiest road in the High Atlas!
Our accommodation was lovely, we stayed in beautiful Riads in the Medinas of Chefchaouen, Fes and Marakech and Ksar in the regional towns, our night in the desert was in our own private campsite in traditional Amazigh tents (with the added luxury of running water and private ensuites - luxury!)
Above and beyond: I have many examples of this.... We joined the group in Rabat (day 2) as we had been in Spain and Gibraltar prior to the tour and arrived in Morocco at Tangier, as I was disorganised and unable to make the connection from Tangier to Rabat. At the last minute Sally and Hassan arranged for a driver to collect us at the airport, our accommodation and a morning tour for us in Tangier with the driver then ferrying us on to Rabat to join the group for dinnertime. I had injured my back (too much luggage after 3 weeks in Spain!) and when we arrived at the hotel in Rabat, Hassan had booked me a massage at the hotel spa, so thoughtful and a great relief!
I have a hairstyle with an undercut, while at a market in the middle of the desert it occurred to me that there would probably be a barber there, I mentioned to Hassan I would like to get my undercut done if possible and he made it happen, much to the amusement of the locals and my travelling companions - a very fond memory of a fun trip.
Hassan was also there when it came to negotiating some big purchases, helping in the haggling and also guiding me so that I wasn't making any faux pas or insulting the trader with my offer.
I will be returning to Morocco sometime soon to visit the parts I have not yet seen and revisit some of my favourite places, you can guarantee it will be with Souk and Co.

I travelled in 2019 on the ‘Souks & Style’ tour & it was one of the best travel adventures I have ever had! Sal is just gorgeous, and was amazing to deal with every step of the way, from my initial enquiry, throughout our entire tour and when we returned home.
Every detail has been thought of, to curate a bespoke and unique experience in Magical Morocco. We travelled with a small group of likeminded, fun girls on this trip, and the experiences we had along the way will be cherished life long memories.
I felt completely safe the whole time and we were so well looked after by Sal and her team and our wonderful local guide Hassan who is an amazing wealth of knowledge!
Morocco is truly amazing, the Kasbahs and Riads need to be seen to be believed, and you simply can’t access most of these places on your own. It’s also invaluable to have a local on the ground who can communicate with locals and knows exactly where to take you.
Sal and her team went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing time, I loved it all!. My friends and I still talk about it now with such fond memories and we can’t wait to come back and see more of Morocco with Sal and her team xx
-
“Sal and Hassan organised an amazing Moroccan adventure for my girlfriends from around the globe. They are amazingly friendly crew, highly organised with deep local knowledge. Adapting the schedule for individual wants (shopping requests/food requests) was never a problem. Morocco has a magical feel and Sal, Hassan and the team were able to share their love of the country, cities and landscapes with us in a unique and real way. Forever grateful….”
-
Speaking for myself, Sally, I really had a wonderful trip and feel that, bar the coast, there's scarcely a Moroccan stone I left unturned! As a backdrop to linking up with Allison, it was Abfab..This is wholly down to the hugely diverse, thoughtful and action packed itinerary which you arranged and which you and Hassan executed with such grace and humour. Your ability to 'manage' a group while assimilating into it is awesome! I mean that. Australia and Morocco would be hard pushed to find better Ambassadors..
-
This is a very belated email to say thank you for organising our wonderful trip to Morocco. What a fabulous country! And we were able to see so much of it, and experience so many amazing things, thanks to your thoughtful planning. You have obviously spent a lot of time over the years checking out quirky and comfortable accommodation, as well as gaining a good understanding of what the Australian traveller is likely to enjoy. Doug and I both found the whole three weeks just wonderful.
Ahmed was a sensational guide – wise, well-informed, very patient, but most of all full of fun. He also had a terrific understanding of when we had eaten enough tagines (his restaurant recommendations were wonderful) and I was especially grateful that he was able to take me to a great bookstore in Marrakech, where I could buy books by Maghrebi authors written in French. He’s a real gem, as were our two drivers.

First off— Sally---i want to welcome you back home --it does take a bit of time to get settled! I also wanted to thank you for organizing such an amazing trip for my mother and the rest of us. I know we are all digesting these diverse and deep moments and introductions to history and culture and people. I believe that we will be able to do some referrals for you—all in time! but what a trip! it was so amazing..
I have sent photos and you can choose whichever ones make sense and here are my words for Hassan—
Hassan—in our country we have en expression—“this person is a love magnet!” This describes you! You are so sensitive and nuanced and kind and totally awesomely brilliant! And with all these extraordinary qualities you are humble and your soul is all about service to the greater good and expressing love in all your actions. In your 50th year, we wish you all the best of health and that you and your family stay well and that you continue building bridges and connections between all the people who have the opportunity to be with you, to meet you and your generosity in sharing the country you love. The photos speak to this generosity of spirit—from helping my mother in the Sahara to never forgetting those in need-- bringing supplies to nomadic families in the desert to stopping in a Berber school to bring school supplies. Everyone seems to know you! From the teacher in a school to a baker in Marrakesh, to an artisan or rug dealer to your colleagues who greet you in the streets! Your light shines through your smile and your passion for life is electric. You are so special! I hope that this next year is full of blessings and lots of Berber nutella! With love from Diana and Craig and Barbara and the two Bens!

Geoff & I had a wonderful holiday with Bruce & Tina in Morocco. We were so amazed by the majestic landscapes & stunning architecture. The itinerary was fabulous. Although there were some long days the ever changing scenery made it worthwhile. The Riads were stunning.
Ahmed was a wonderful guide – he had a lovely warmth & sense of humour & imparted just the right amount of information each day. We were very well looked after.
Our driver Haj (not sure of spelling) was also very good at his job.
We have already recommended your company to some interested friends so you may receive some email enquiries.
Thank you for making it all happen.

Hi Sally,
I wanted to let you know what a fabulous trip Leigh and I had. It was beyond anything we had expected!! Ali and Ahmed were there for us every step of the way and made the trip!! They made everything easy and incredibly fun for us, and such a wealth of knowledge. I don’t know when I’ve ever laughed so much for such a long expanse of time. We were constantly entertained. I highly recommend them. The country was so beautiful and diverse and I feel as though we covered so much of it. And learned way more than I thought we would.
I have loved being here from before Ramadan into the Holy Month. Just fascinating! The people are so welcoming!!!
I can’t thank you enough for such a terrific trip you planned for us!!
I’ve been recommending you to everyone who I know who wants to visit Morocco!!
Look so forward to meeting you some day!!
-

“I was fortunate enough to visit the magnificent Morocco in March 2020.Having already travelled to Bali on one of Mel’s tours I new that I was in for a treat and I certainly was not disappointed. From the moment we landed both Mel and Sally ensured that each of us on the tour felt comfortable and safe in our new surroundings. There was a perfect balance of shopping, dining, sightseeing and learning about the wonderful country, it’s culture and it’s people. We were so fortunate to have a wonderful group of women on our tour of varying ages and backgrounds but all sharing a love of shopping, laughter and good times.Whilst Mel and Sally run a highly professional, thoroughly researched tour it is complimented with a warm and relaxed vibe that ensured all of us left Morocco having encountered a memorable experience. I can not recommend this tour highly enough and am already counting down the days until October when I will get to do it all again. “

My trip to Morocco with Melinda and Sally was my ‘once in a lifetime experience’. It sounds a bit cliched but that was my bucket list ‘tick-off’ and I can’t wait to do it again.
We saw great sights, ate amazing food, and had the best accommodation. Melinda and Sally are great hosts and having a local guide and driver makes traversing the countryside so easy. Hassan (our guide and the George Clooney of North Africa) has incredible knowledge of the history and geography of his much-loved country. He is also the most patient human when it comes to shopping and shipping home your goodies.
I went alone on this trip and met a great group of women. We’re all still in touch and I feel my friendship circle widened considerably. Mel and Sal are kind and caring. We always felt safe and comfortable. The itinerary is well planned, and they have Plan ‘B’ for any special requests or changes.
Take away – can’t wait to do it again and if you get the chance, you should do it too. xx
-
“I travelled with Sally & Mel on a group tour in March 2019.
I travelled on my own and shared with someone I didn’t know but this tour was just perfect in every way.
From start to finish I could not fault anything, Sally & Mel are so inclusive and every little detail is taken into account. The small group size is great and the places you stay, visit and see are like nothing I have ever experienced (and I have travelled a lot).
Sally’s love of Morocco is truly special, Mel makes sure we are all having a ball with plenty of laughs and Hassan knowledge is something that should be appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them.
I just can’t wait to join them on another tour.”
-
“What a wonderful way to see Morocco. Melinda and Sal had every detail covered. Relaxed but highly organized Mel and Sal have a natural ability to make you feel welcome, included and nothing was ever to much trouble. Hassan was a fabulous guide and help and I always felt safe knowing the team was looking out for us. Highly recommend.”
-
A trip of a lifetime- Melinda and Sally from Pineapple Souk sure know how to deliver!
The Morocco trip was a real bucket list moment for me - Mel and Sal had everything so well organised. From accommodation, transport to restaurants and the best local shopping souks- the ladies had it sorted. We also had the most amazing local guide – Hassan, who was with us all the way. Nothing was a problem, a true gentleman who always kept an eye on us. The local knowledge of all the team was incredible and made for an amazing trip. I did this tour with my beautiful friend, it was our 2nd tour with these wonderful ladies. My personal highlight this time- riding a camel in the Agafay Desert and glamping under the stars. It was so magical, I will never forget it.
The passion that Mel and Sal have for their business is evident as they take their ‘Travel tribe’ under their wing and show all the best things the country/destination has to offer. They are so well organised, they are excellent communicators and you truly want for nothing when you are on tour. These women love life, they love a laugh and most importantly they love what they do- TRAVEL. The last tour was full of like-minded fabulous ladies, the fun and the laughs were constant. It was an AWESOME trip.
My friend and have just booked our 3rd trip with Pineapple Souk and we can’t wait. I can highly recommend Pineapple Souk tours.

“I have to say I booked this trip at the last minute with my girlfriend Chris and have never been so glad I did. First we went to Bali and met the most amazing group of Australian ladies. That was in the summer of 2019. The trip was so fun that we immediately booked Mel's next trip for Morocco the following March. I have referred a friend that will be taking the Moroccan trip this fall. I would have gone again this year however I am retiring and planning to go back to Bali this year, thanks to the amazing time I had with Mel and all the ladies in 2019. You will not want to miss this amazing tour and Mel and Sally are undeniably the best guides/friends you can travel with anywhere!”
