About ELENI

An Australian with deep Aegina island roots, Eleni has been visiting the island since she was eight years old. With a Greek mother from Aegina and a family home on the island, she has spent a lifetime discovering every corner of the island and its rich cultural fabric.

Now living in Greece, Eleni is excited to share her intimate knowledge of Aegina’s traditions, culinary heritage, and lesser-known treasures.

MON 29 SEP : Arrival & Welcome

Welcome to Aegina Island!

Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to the serene village of Perdika via VIP service with Eleni or Sally, or accompanied by one of our friendly drivers. As we journey through the island's picturesque landscapes, you'll catch your first glimpse of Aegina's tranquil charm and natural beauty.

Once here, we'll settle into our private villas, where stunning views set the stage for our adventure. Together, we'll begin our culinary journey with a feast of traditional Greek flavours at the welcome buffet, showcasing Aegina's finest local delicacies.

As the sun sets, we'll enjoy a leisurely stroll to the nearby fishing village, Perdika, soaking in the serene atmosphere. There's no better place for our first night together than a delicious seafood dinner at a cozy seaside taverna! The perfect start to our island experience.

TUE 30 SEP : Nature and Culinary Delight

After a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic trek to the Ancient Olive Grove, where we'll enjoy a peaceful picnic surrounded by nature. The afternoon is ours to spend as we wish-relaxing by the pool at the villa or visiting a nearby beach.

In the early evening, Eleni will guide us in making the local pistachio biscuit, a beloved island treat. We'll conclude the day with another delightful dinner together at the villa.

WED 01 OCT : Ancient History and Somatic Connection

We'll start our day with a relaxing breakfast featuring Greek pies, local honey, fresh fruit, and eggs. Later, our VIP transfer service will take us to the other side of the island to explore the Temple of Aphaia, an ancient sanctuary even older than the Parthenon, with breathtaking views.

Afterwards, we'll head back to Perdika for a refreshing swim, followed by a traditional Greek lunch in a local taverna.

In the late afternoon, Anita will lead us through a somatic experience workshop, focusing on body-centered therapy to release emotions. We'll end this enriching day with a cozy dinner, delivered fresh from a nearby taverna, enjoyed together in the privacy of our villa.

THU 02 OCT : Hydra Island Excursion

After breakfast, we'll set sail for a full-day exploration of Hydra Island, celebrated for its cosmopolitan charm and well-preserved architecture. With no cars on the island, we'll wander its narrow, cobblestoned streets lined with whitewashed homes adorned with vibrant bougainvillea.

We'll have time to stroll along the amphitheatric waterfront, discovering hidden gems like waterfront cafes, gorgeous boutiques, and local art galleries.

Following our day of island hopping, we'll return to the villa, where we'll enjoy front-row seats to another spectacular sunset show!

FRI 03 OCT : Cooking, Culture, and Celebration

On our final full day on the island, we'll gather for breakfast and enjoy a leisurely morning by the pool, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Around midday, our Yiayia arrives to share her cherished recipes for an interactive Greek cuisine workshop.

Together, we'll savour the delicious dishes we've prepared before setting off to Aegina town, where we'll explore charming local shops. We'll finish the day with a memorable farewell dinner at a renowned seafood restaurant, celebrated as one of Greece's finest.

SAT 04 OCT : Farewell and Departure

We'll enjoy our final breakfast together at the villa, taking in the serene surroundings one last time. Then, we'll bid farewell to Aegina as transfers are arranged to take us back to the port. We'll leave with cherished memories of a transformative Greek island experience.

 * Included meals are those that are organised for our tour. If you choose to dine separately or at other locations these will be at your own expense. On the first day of the tour, the welcome buffet and dinner is the only meal included. On departure day, breakfast is the only meal included.

** Included transport and transfers are those that are organised for our tour. If you choose to travel separately from the group at any time this will be at your own expense. Please note that ferry tickets, once booked, are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should you miss our confirmed ferry, or choose to change it once booked, the cost of a new ferry ticket will be at your own expense.

*** The costings for this trip have been based on a minimum participant number. Should this number not be reached we reserve the right to either apply a surcharge, postpone or cancel the trip.

**** Rooms are offered on a Single or Double basis. Double room costings are based on two people sharing a room. If there are not two people sharing, the Single Occupancy price will apply. (Please note: the villas do not offer separate twin bed rooms)
